Since 2000, Joe has been creating enterprise value providing turnaround and operational improvement consulting to middle market companies. Working with private equity backed and private businesses, he has held multiple “C” level roles at a variety of businesses (President, COO, CMO). He has managed the turnaround of manufacturing, technology, insurance, consumer products, and retail businesses. He has participated in over $150 million of M&A transactions. Earlier in his career, Joe spent 6 years at EY, where he held regional, national, and global positions. Joe’s career started in telecommunications, with MCI (pre-WorldCom) culminating in the management of a significant sales and service organization in NYC.

Joe is involved with several well-funded startups including Summit Maryland, a business focused on redefining the substance abuse care model to better address the social determinants of health and Eden Community Ventures which brings an intense financial education program to the inner city and ensures practical application through funding and support of social entrepreneurship in communities of need.
