
Min. Glenn Smith
Minister (“Min”) Glenn Isaac Smith is a Lay Minister of Helps. He is a lifetime resident of Baltimore Maryland living for 10 years in Miami Florida. In Miami he was very involved with the Voice for Jesus Ministry. He also was an organizer with the March for Jesus Organization and Promise Keepers. Since returning to Baltimore in October of 2002 he has been Vice President of the Minority Business Directory of Maryland and a Member of the Minority Contractors Association.
Minister also serves as a Board Member of the Coppin Heights CDC where he serves as the Community Liaison Officer and Chairman of The Steering Committee. He, moreover, serves in the capacity as a transportation advocate. Min. Smith became a Transportation Advocate as the Vice President of Baltimore Transit Equity Coalition and Co-Chair of the Get Maryland Moving Coalition.
Min. Smith is a member of Black Men Unifying Black Men whose mission is the unity of Black Men to be a catalyst in solving the conditions of the Black Community. “No More Excuses Rally” is an attempt to challenge Black men to change their negative actions by bringing life changing resources directly to their Communities.
Furthermore, Min. Smith became a resident of St. James Terrace Apartments in May of 2015 and was present during the redevelopment process that resulted in the fine building we currently reside in. Min. Smith was elected VP of Residence Council in November of 2018.
Finally, Min. Smith is a Food Advocate with the Baltimarket virtual food market a partnership between the Baltimore Health Department and ShopRite Food Market. Baltimarket is a great convenience to the residents of St. James Terrace located in one of the many Food Deserts in Baltimore. Min. Smith is one of the original Board Members and founders of Eden Community Ventures Corporation.
